The Spice Girls have been doing some major girl bonding this year because of their reunion concert, but they’re not about to put up the facade that everything’s always been this friendly. In a documentary that’s expected to circulate in the Internet this week, Geri talks about why she quit the band in 1998.

“I just felt like the band had got so big, and the girls were almost like they didn’t need me anymore, really,” says the former Ginger Spice. “I definitely felt very redundant,” she says, “like the wheels were turning whether I was there or not, it felt.”
