Lindsay granted station Mix 94.1 FM an impromptu update on her life. She called in to help her friend, whose nieces wanted to watch the Hannah Montana concert. (Oh my God — is she actually thinking about someone aside from herself?!)

Yes, she is, and Lindsay says it’s all part of a “new me.”

“I think my life is different now. I’m growing up. It was time. I’m a different person now,” she said.

The big turning point was rehb, she said, and once she got out she made a conscious decision to stay out of the news and buckle down to work. She’s working on her new album, which she describes as urban pop, and is planning to visit Africa to help kids. “would be nice to give back.”
